Currently a Module Lead on the FdA Health and Wellbeing (Nursing Associate) for Human Anatomy and Physiology, Inclusive Communication for Professional Practice, Research and Leadership with the main objective being to promote high quality safe holistic patient care, enhance the student experience and be one of the gatekeepers to this developing profession.

Angela has kept abreast of her research activities through numerous peer reviewed publications and has been invited to present at both National and International conferences.  She is a passionate advocate of developing perioperative education for the multidisciplinary team.  Research interests surround the following areas:

Exploring and understanding students with specific learning needs
Staff retention and job satisfaction and professionalisation
Human factors within the perioperative environment

Angela maintains an active role with the professional body, Association for Perioperative Practitioners.  This includes delivering bespoke perioperative education for the organisation and undertaking clinical perioperative audits ensuring National and International standards are maintained.
